Community Involvement
The members of Hoffman, Luhman, and Masson are active in the community. The attorneys in the firm have had the privilege of serving as the county attorneys for Tippecanoe County since 1995. Prior to that, Frederick Hoffman was the Tippecanoe County attorney from 1971 to 1982. As county attorneys, we are deeply committed to the community, its health, and its prosperity.
Organizations with which Mr. Luhman has been involved include: Lafayette Rotary Club RI District 6560 (Past President 1996-1997); Lafayette Rotary Club Foundation (President); Central Presbyterian Foundation of Lafayette Indiana (President); Westminster Village West Lafayette Inc. (Director, 2002-2012; Vice President, 2007-2012); Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette (Director, 2011-); and the Tippecanoe County Bar Association (Secretary, 1981-1982, Vice-President 2012 – 2013, President 2013-2014 ).
Mr. Masson was on the board of the Legal Aid Corporation of Tippecanoe County from 2005 – 2011 and served as the Board President from 2008 – 2010 and was a member of its golf fundraising committee from 2004 – 2014. He also served on the board of Shared Enterprise Management Inc. which is the operator of the Howarth Center, a facility that provides low cost office space for non-profit organizations in the community. He has also been the soccer coach for numerous spring and fall recreational league teams in the Greater Lafayette Soccer Alliance since 2010.
Mr. Salsbery is an active member of the Lafayette Daybreak Rotary Club, as both a member of the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Toast to Mental Health Committee. He is also on the Willowstone Family Services (formerly Family Services) Board of Directors, and currently serves as its Vice-Chairman.
The firm has been a member of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce since 1979.
